Bro. Oscar Middlebrook obeyed the gospel in October, 1981 under Minister Jim F. Miller at the Westnedge Church of Christ, Kalamazoo Michigan. In 1984, he began ministerial training under Bro. Miller’s tutelage. In August 1990, after moving to Indianapolis, Bro. Middlebrook placed his membership at the Kingsley Terrace Church of Christ, where he humbly served as Deacon, Elder and Associate Minister for eighteen years. It was there he was ordained a Minister of the Gospel by Minister Stanley Hubbard.
Bro. Middlebrook has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and over thirty years of Management, Leadership and Management Development Training experience. He has been married to his wife, Cynthia, for over thirty-nine years and they are proud parents and grandparents.
In 2009, God called Bro. Middlebrook to start the Metro Church of Christ where he currently serves as Senior Minister and Elder and where he continues to train and ordain leaders for service in the Lord’s church. He continues his own spiritual education by taking classes to better equip himself to serve our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
